Our Mission

At Silver Dale Public School, we aim at a vigorous pursuit of excellence in academic, curricular activities, games and sports and character-building by providing an all – round, meaningful and liberal education. Our objective is:

• 1. To recognize and to encourage talents of all kinds and of all degrees, and to endeavor to stretch the intellectual and creative capacity of individuals.
• 2. To develop fluency in use of language, and to faster enjoyment of all the process of communication: oral, written & visual.
• 3. Is so far as it lies within the resources of the School, to illustrate the interrelationship of all human knowledge, to faster an appreciation of man’s creative skills, and to stimulate a conception of learning as a lifelong process.
• 4. Since it is impossible for a school to cover the whole realm of knowledge one has to be vigorously selective in material presented to children, but we pay particular attention to: Stimulating intellectual curiosity.
• 5. Directing and exercising the emotions; encouraging clear thinking and decimation; development an interest in the process and resources of learning.
• 6. Fostering a capacity to tackle a problem and to follow and argument and emphasizing the difference between truth & falsehood, between fact & feeling.
